This image came from a day spent on the western peninsula of Mount Desert Island, Acadia National Park, Maine. I first stopped at this marshy inlet into Seal Cove because of a large Great Blue Heron I noticed as I was driving by. After an hour of shooting these water lilies I packed-up and headed down to Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse. This is image number 10 from Gallery 1.
